Hi there! my name is Debbie Wastney and I live in beautiful sunny Nelson with my partner Gaz and our baby boy, Austin.
Health and fitness has always been important to me and after 20 years of full-time teaching in the Primary sector, I decided to set sail in a different direction to take my passion and turn it into a business where I could empower and inspire others to lead a healthy, active lifestyle and become the best version of themselves.
I am so excited to offer amazing Mummas Pre & Postnatal recovery programmes to restore pelvic floor and core and guide them back safely into their fitness journey.
Now that I am a new Mum, I have learned first hand the incredible changes that happen in the woman’s body pre and post pregnancy and want to inspire Mum’s to break the stigma associated with ‘getting your pre baby body back quick’.
Too many women make the mistake of doing too much too soon and trigger many issues such as incontinence, lower back, hip and pelvic pain.
I aim to inspire healthy, safe and manageable exercise practices to assist in preparing Mum’s for birth and postnatal recovery to prevent injury and foster the healing process.
I am proud to offer training packages utilising the ‘Active Mum’s framework as a Licensed ‘Active Mum NZ’s’ trainer.

‘Become the best version of yourself’
MUMS IN MOTION POST-NATAL PROGRAMME – an 8 week course focusing on regaining core stability, pelvic floor control and overall strength.
MUMS IN ACTION ADVANCED POST-NATAL PROGRAMME – 45-60 min class for Mum’s. Workout varies each session from circuit to boot camp style workouts.
A functional workout building on the strength and stability developed from the Mums in Motion programme.
MUM-TO-BE TRAINING – Small group OR 1 on 1 Personal Training sessions. Safe exercise prescription specific to the individuals stage of pregnancy and level of fitness.
