My name is Amanda Senior from Lumsden in Southland. We are on a family farm with my husband Chris & two children Jessica 19yrs & Ryan 17yrs.
Originally from Australia I have been in the Fitness industry for over 25 years with instructing group fitness classes.
In 2007, I established Northern Southland Community Gym for our Community & continued to offer many classes in the community such as Spin, Body pump, Circuits, Aquafit, Core, & Pilates /Yoga inspired classes.
With a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals & health journey, I completed studies in Personal training at the NZ Institute of Health & Fitness & further training in Pre & Post Natal.
Following this I established AS FITNESS & currently have a studio from home where I work with clients & continue with classes in the community.
As I live in a Rural area, I see a lot of mums struggle to get back into exercise safely after having children so Im excited to be a Active Mums NZ trainer in Southland, to help make a difference for mums Physically, mentally & spiritually.
Bring your kids with you to all sessions the place is set up for kids to play around us while we workout.
MUMS IN MOTION POST-NATAL PROGRAMME – an 8 week course focusing on regaining core stability, pelvic floor control and overall strength.
MUMS IN ACTION ADVANCED POST-NATAL PROGRAMME – 45-60 min class for Mum’s. Workout varies each session from circuit to boot camp style workouts.
A functional workout building on the strength and stability developed from the Mums in Motion programme.
MUM-TO-BE TRAINING – Small group OR 1 on 1 Personal Training sessions. Safe exercise prescription specific to the individuals stage of pregnancy and level of fitness.
